A leader is someone who steps up when things are down, not up, and helps pick up a cause from the ground and by sheer force of will moves it forward.(not to say the Rebels are on the ground im just making a point)

like it or not Haleigh gets people out, just wanting some more good fights.

I understand that people can do what they want. If they don't want to PVP then they don't  have to but it also doesn't mean someone can't ask them. If you are standing at the SP in Restuss, there are not many reasons to be there. When Rebels are continually charging the hill 5 vs 12 as 8 other Rebels are just sitting around it makes some wonder what's up.

I am in no way calling anyone out or anything like that. I don't have that much time to play and have no idea what it is like all the time. These are just my observations from the limited time I am on and looking to PVP.

Christ I've been saying this all along: As much as I like Haleigh and acknowledge how much she cares about the faction and whatnot, if she doesn't wanna be on this server we simply do not need her. Let her do what she wants. I'm not downplaying her role in our faction and yes, we've been **edit** the bed since she left... BUT, this faction has never and will never rely on a sinlge person. As for the bases, how about you guys do something? Ever thought about that. And anyways shadow has his pvp city just about built, so maybe when he stops being lazy he will drop a base and not take it up before we organize a crew to bust it ( i knew you were just trying to flatten the land). So anyways, we will wait till your guys drop some bases first before we consider doing it again. I'm sure Sipo will drop some houses in there somewhere to prevent it still.

And restuss is balls. If you guys want to organize some pvp events go ahead, if im around i'll try to get some people out. Niyra threw a event in a unique location the other week and all the imps did was cry when they lost. Well Kaynn anyways. If you want more pvp why dont you get off your own * and do something about it. We have had some great pvp fights recently in theed, in and outside of the palace. We have won some fights recently that have been the best fights of my life. If anything being outnumbered teaches you to be better at pvp. Cool thing is shadow will actually leave restuss and go fight you somewhere else. Every time i asked Dedim and those guys to fight somewhere else outside of restuss i got some lame * excuse.

 I forsee great fights in the future.

 I'm glad we are slighty outnumbered at the current time. It is after all, the true rebel way.

2. NERD has never actually played a game of Water polo.
3. Life has been discovered outside the Mos Eisley cantina.
4. I don't cyber 15 year olds, so don't mark your calendar for your birthday in 2009.
   (Or claim your brother is 15 and go to the "IRL Character Selection" screen)

You just cant hate on Vappid.  That guy did more for the Rebels even when he went imp for a week or two then we'll ever see from most any of these new rebels.

The Rebellion is not dead, at all. and of course the Empire killed defended bases and we didnt, they never defended their bases, we defended ours.

Any of the ones they defended were still destroyed obviously. and I know there was more than one.
And is it really a full defense group if I'm not there. atleast one person was missing at that point...

JP, Ima respectfully disagree with you on this, you missed more than half the Conviction fights, and you missed all the raids, (except that one last year in Fort Hostility, and the one in New Suntir) and showed up hours later to tell me the fight was no big deal because you weren't there.

In the case of the raids you ranted day and night about my GCW point grind, which everyone else on the server knew wasn't the case. You even authoritatively made that claim when the impies defended those bases in your absence, unless I had a video and screenshots to prove there was a fight at all.

We all know you work 60+ hours a week and you play Vanguard more than SWG, and that's your business. Don't change the facts to disrespect the rebels who showed up every single time, there was more than one of them.

I do agree the rebellion will live on just fine without me, but don't diss the rebels still here by calling them pathetic. Conviction, the city I worked my bunz off for since Oct. 1, 2006, following your every whim and spending whole days just putting together, with nothing but grief from you about what I wasn't doing right, was an inactive city the day after I slipped out, and that's the pathetic part.

You and I both know the rebellion was/is very capable of managing without me but I want to know why Conviction wasn't.

I gave my self credit as being a single person. Every person coulda been there. but I wasnt - thus it wasnt really a full defense group, as my definition of a full defense group is an ideal group filled with the people you want to be there.
I'd assume that a full defense ground would include me.

You can have all the glory you want, I don't care for any of it.
I know you dwell on it all - so by all means take it.

as you stated I work alot and I play Vanguard very little. but its my choice before SWG, I never wanted Conviction. I wanted to spark some PVP on this server and leave something for people to use. and quit this **edit** game.

Because this game sucks, and I've busted my * and payed my dues just as much as anyone wants to claim that they have.

I don't dwell on personal Glory and you **edit** well know it.

I've only ever wanted to help others pull together, and never, ever took one bit of glory, isn't this the pot calling the kettle black?

If I missed something, and found out about it the next day, it wasn't lame because I couldn't make it, and I always highlighted what others did, even if I wasn't riding in on a white horse out front.

My problem is with you calling the Rebels still here pathetic on a thread with my name on it, not to mention the constant berating of people who still fight for something besides themselves.

Sad thing is, the rebels don't have the problem on this server the imps have, the newer rebel players embraced the vets as heroes, and gave them the respect that they deserved.

And people like you didn't want it, you were always above equalizing with the newer recruits, never wanting them to have their chance to prove themselves. Everything they did was small and insignificant. "I did this or that for my faction and I don't have to do anything else, I've done my bit."

Don't even talk to me about the rebels who "consistently serve and die for what we all believe in." My service and that of others has been the target of your ridicule more than anything the imps have done.

Should warm your heart to know I'm almost Lieutenant Colonel and should be a Lt. soon enough, maybe I'll log in sometime when I am, will be nice to not hear you bishing about GCW points, which is what everyone but you cares about so much, otherwise we wouldn't have so many.

I want rebels to get together, and own imps, apparently it'd be beyond rebels atm, but were working on it.  we're outgeared, outnumbered, and often times outplayed, but I'm not QQ'ing  about it.

As far as JP goes, for years now, every time a reb or imp has come to me to ask my opinion about changing factions, one thing I have always asked them is "How do you feel about JP".

If they, despite their feelings up or down about him, could respect his rebel leadership, they were rebel enough in my book.

If they couldn't, I told them to go/stay imperial. It was a good way to filter them IMO.

I've had this convo with most every reb now in the faction, including many who started and stayed rebel.

I've also had it with more imps than you would ever wanna know about, or I will ever name.  

If JP ever says rebels are pathetic on a thread that directly involves me, I'll tear him a new hole, and I won't apologize for it. 'Nuff said, and I fully expect him to understand why.

If you think you are outnumbered or outgunned now, I can show you 10 thousand hours of FRAPS of me getting owned solo while other rebs watched, or played other games, I've been there too ... and when I took my break, rebels were more connected and more unified than I have ever seen them, including pre CU.

Was the first time all the involved rebs have been "in contact" without me sending gobs of tells in a long time. I'll say it again: the Rebellion lives on, whether I am in 'runner or not, you guys are more than capable.
