A few people were not so happy but i can quite confidently say more Rebels would prolly rather have Haleigh back and JP as an Imp. Afterall she never puts rebels down or nething like mr ingro by saying fights he didnt take part in didn't mean **edit**. She left when she thought the Rebellion was strong, shes not the type of person to just quit when the rebs are having a bad time.

I do not know of a single Imperial who "likes" JP.
(Correct me if I'm wrong...)

I know of several Imperials who like/love Hal.
(She inspires respect as to where JP inspires raw hatred.)

As for rebels, I'm not cetain as to how y'all feel. But, I've always kinda thought the Rebs followed JP out of some misplaced "loyality". Certainly not because of his leadership.. as to where Hal was a true leader.

NONE of this arguing over PAST events is productive. NONE of it in any way helps the Rebel cause -- it only serves to stroke egos about who is wrong and who is more wrong. Has ANYONE noticed the Imperials, both past and present, constantly pouring gasoline on this little tiff? It's only making things more difficult for the Rebel cause all around. And if one cared about the Rebel cause, I would think one might confine personal conflicts to personal discussions, instead of playing this public flame game.

Welp, if I could have had a personal productive conversation with JP, that didn't involve his bitshing ... you wouldn't be reading this.

To get a shuttle or a statue or anything dropped, was a two day wait to get a response from him at all, and the only way to get a response was to confirm from someone on vent he got the message (and that usually took 2 days, him telling everyone to tell me he was AFK if I asked), and a 30 minute lecture when he finally showed up to tell me about why the game, the rebels, suck etc. Don't forget him telling people in the cantina I am stalking him ....

Yeah, I need to "but out" as I'm far from JP's thoughts, as he said in the other thread, but it's nothing new. That's about the nicest thing he's said to me in months, normally he says that through in-betweens.

JP doesn't care about getting along, he's glad I'm gone, along with several other players his sensitive ego was threatened by. This after the same people backed him tirelessly.

So I don't have to take his abuse, him telling me where I can and can't post. I took his orders long enough, I don't expect anyone else to.

No reb got on his case while he's been saying since the CU hit to everyone who will listen how this game wasn't worth playing, when he convinced one rebel and then another to give up the fight, we are talking 20 or so friends of mine here.

NONE of this arguing over PAST events is productive. NONE of it in any way helps the Rebel cause -- it only serves to stroke egos about who is wrong and who is more wrong. Welp, if I could have had a personal productive conversation with JP, that didn't involve his bitshing ... you wouldn't be reading this.

To get a shuttle or a statue or anything dropped, was a two day wait to get a response from him at all, and the only way to get a response was to confirm from someone on vent he got the message (and that usually took 2 days, him telling everyone to tell me he was AFK if I asked), and a 30 minute lecture when he finally showed up to tell me about why the game, the rebels, suck etc. Don't forget him telling people in the cantina I am stalking him ....

Yeah, I need to "but out" as I'm far from JP's thoughts, as he said in the other thread, but it's nothing new. That's about the nicest thing he's said to me in months, normally he says that through in-betweens.

JP doesn't care about getting along, he's glad I'm gone, along with several other players his sensitive ego was threatened by. This after the same people backed him tirelessly.

So I don't have to take his abuse, him telling me where I can and can't post. I took his orders long enough, I don't expect anyone else to.

No reb got on his case while he's been saying since the CU hit to everyone who will listen how this game wasn't worth playing, when he convinced one rebel and then another to give up the fight, we are talking 20 or so friends of mine here.

When I was told that she left the first thing that came to my mind was abandonment. Whether any of you agree with me or not, I could honestly care less, but that is what I think. Sure I have other characters on other servers, but to completely leave this server because of confrontation with one person is beyond me.

I don't have any problem with what you posted, but what I don't get is that the people who go imp, or leave and say things like "This game sux, I hate you all" or trash the players who still play, those people don't evoke this kind of emotional reaction. I don't get it ...

I stated that there is no game like SWG, no server like Sunrunner, and no body of fighters like the rebs here, that's more than most anyone who slips out ever says to support the people still here fighting. I meant it then ... and I still do.

I actively welcomed JP back, when he left and said the game sucked, the rebs sucked, it didnt matter, etc. I worked hard to encourage him and keep him motivated. I didn't let other rebs trash him either, even when he played both sides and gave me those "I am my own faction" speeches. I didn't tell him to "but out" or that he was so far from my thoughts, or anything like that.

And I stood with you, Vikis, when we faced insane odds, I never let up, and I try and slip out when the rebels were strong and unified as ever, and some people still think I abandoned them. I was thrilled when you came back with the NGE, it was my natural reaction, I didn't have to think about it.    

What happened to "Do what you have to do", I didn't take my break because of JP's constant abuse only, it was a safe time for me to pull out: I was needed less than before, the rebels were stronger and more unified than I had seen in a very long time, and I was really burned out.

Just wish I could understand the abandoned feeling, cuz it's pretty much all I've heard from rebs since I left.

You didn't think there'd be some people left here who can see through your attempts to discredit JP? For what reason I don't know.

All I know is that it is VERY obvious you're sitting there thinking of all the things you can blame on him then posting them here.

Here's my hypothesis:

Haleigh didn't like the fact that conviction was a jp project. For the past few months before that every rebel pvp activity was headlined by haleigh. she was the driving force between almost all rebel pvp.

So, Haleigh says, I'll leave and they'll realize they need me.

A month or however long its been goes by.... Nobody comes begging for her to come back.

Her plan is screwed. Nobody decided we needed her that bad to go beg her to come back. Plus nobody knew she really wnated to ultimately because she claimed to be happy on the new pile of **edit** server.

In the past week or w/e she decides shes going to come back. Maybe we didn't beg her to come back but maybe she can get a bunch of little kids to follow her every word again.

Only problem is, the guy who she couldnt handle sharing the limelight with is still here...

So lets try to make him leave. Even though we didn't say a word about him when we left, we'll suddenly accuse him of being the reason why everything bad ever happened within the faction.

Every forum post until jon decides to quit is going to be dedicated to making him look bad in the eyes of the other rebels... Because we want this sick popularity contest.
