What is your proudest pvp moment, it can be in restuss or at static or player bases, even in a city!

My proudest moment was at conviction seeing a screen message saying "you have incappacitated haleigh comette" and i was like "f*ckin right!!!" for somereason this was a big accomplishment (me being lvl 56 at the time) also seeing all the rebel bodies laying inbetween the 2 houses. there hadda been atleast 40 of them.

New Suntir

Not a particular moment, just the entire year and a half it stood while we defended that fortress. We were goshdarn proud of ourselves but also of the many that came to aid in the defense and also in those that came to fight us.

Now that was PvP.

*edit* wow they filter some pretty light words on these forums...

Flying a MT-22 Krayt into deep space and powering straight at Durgan.

I lasted 32 seconds, to which he sent "I'm impressed -  I've never seen anyone last that long in anything that huge!"  We spent the next 5 hours with me powering straight back into Deep Space to see if I could at least take out his shields just once.

I don't do ground PVP, because I suck at it so phenomenally SMILEY;)

The battle was Antoch,

The Rebels had taken the base and the countdown had begun. We had made a run at the base already and lost, I knew there was almost no time so I went Special Forces before anyone else just in case we did breach their defences.  The battle was feirce and many where falling on both sides, but then just as it always is in battle there was a shift in balance. I took the opening and rushed into the base. There stood Haleigh right where I needed to stop the countdown. I charged in saber swinging with everything I had. Had it not been for the brave and dedicated Imperials fighting at my side we would have lost the day. Timer was stoped at 5 seconds.

Was a good fight, we had to stop the timer again with only like 6 seconds later that same fight.( I think it was Leono that time)

That is my best pvp experiance to date.

Either the many times I've incapped Priesty on accident while he was in stealth lol, or the great fights I have with Kaynn.

We were wrapping up a sunday space PVP event in Deep Space. Tagster ( in his Oppy ) and I ( in Meep Meep ) were the only ones left. I chased him down, he turned to engage and I started firing. I got him just as he launched his remaining IR-II missles. We both took a trip out of DS and spent the next few minutes laughing about it in tells. Good fun.

Other fun things in DSm, taking more then a few crutchers out in my Heavy X. Even had one whinning about me playing "dirty", claiming I should not be able to turn within his turn radius. I guess he wanted me to fly a nice straight line for him ?

back when i was imp i fought seuss and trent both BHs and I was officer. we battled in the bank area and through the cantina then back in the bank area trashin each other. Seuss was fighting me SF and trent was Bountyin me lol. I managed to Get Seuss killed him, then worked on trent. After running around like a officer can I did gorilla tactics till he used his traps I moved in sliced trent up backed up and trounced trent. Then Seuss comes back we have another fight he beats me, I come back and I beat him.

So really it was Seuss 1 me 2 Trent didn't get my bounty.

when i ran up to a group of 4 or 5 people

totally got incredibly buffed up
hit every single one of my specials in perfect order and timing

and completely leveled the area in a mass superior firepower / proc / crit / doted hellfire

so a 4 v 1..i won...so far, thats what the nge brought

also one of my proud pvp moments was when i killed 8 people in a row while defending a rebel base in the last CU fight.
Swordsman / tk made me proud that day. (although of course i had help...but it was 1 v 1's the whole time...just 8 in a row)

Naboo. VC, Being banned from VC and being the only person in the city to defend it.
Standing in front of 20-40 Imperials at the "gates" of VC's base complex, being one of the only overts (the only one with the intentions of fighting)
And Screaming Rebel pride as 10 moved in, Area Attacking and doting - and killing 5-10 People, going down in a hail of Gunfire and inspiring an Entire faction to get off their lazy asses.
Then cloning and coming back and doing it again to lesser effect.

Corellia. Coronet, Late in an Imperial ruled event, Light Rebels stuck in a guild hall, and I came from the shuttle near the cantina. VOX Noctis Members were their loading in - Soloed 5 of them including Morgan Jamie and the Leader of Noctis.
Stormed into the guild hall and saw 10 Rebels kill 25+ Imperials with only 3 Jedi, Yrean, CorAnger, Fishawao.
The first time Specials coined the phrase "Para trooper"
Hence forth I was often refered to as such.

Naboo. Xenia, ChaosTD and JonPaul, vs 100 Imperials, "The Blockade of Naboo" A strell Event to destroy all of naboos bases, instead he destroyed Xenia and no Xenites were ballsy enough to fight for an already lost base.
Chaos and me decided other wise, added one death to Ef-wans jedi deaths, Torso shotted 10+ AT-ST's to black bars, or death. and killed countless numbers of people, all out of the Xenia cloner with no Buffs.

Talus. Draikens ex guild city (EIM I believe) Upon meeting Kapoi and Draiken a brawl breaks out and members such as Luamhtrad cause a guild war between Zero and EIM. Eim got alot more than they bargained for, when Zero showed up in their city within the hour and Killed their 10+ man guild with Just 3-4 People.
JonPaul, Naznob, Real, Cobb. (Naznob came late) Consistently destroying largers numbers and forceing the guild war to end within 2 hours of starting. I don't think any of our guys actually died. cobb once ... likely.

Naboo. The empire is raising hell, KoS and CoE are waring G-O-D The empires being split into a right and wrong side, and even Rebels began to choose sides. I took it the next step further. I joined up with KoS's war guild, Never Land Ranch and the first 2 days of the war were a complete victory as Supra Manheim Allyk and other members of the Empire crushed GoD's war guild soundly anytime we met. A new level of respect from then on, granted my 2 day vacation was ended when GoD pissed and moaned all day about a rebel being in the fights.
The fights that followed were memorable as well.

Corellia. Suntir, Strolling the ashes of a burning base, noone ever knew that this city would rebuild as the power house fortress of the server. This uneventful fight will always be remembered as how much that city truly grew into.

New Suntir. Always a blast - more than one epic battle took place

Corellia, Coronet. My guild falls on hard times and I rename it to something along the lines of "Sadare Leave -WG-" Trying to get Sadare into the Rebellion. a Guild war flared up 1 on the sizeable guild of -WG-, Zero Tolerance- which was me. Went on to defeat the entire guild of -WG- that was currently online, clone camping 7 Members in the coronet cloner for over an hour, including one of the Samodelkins. Forceing -WG- to end war on a guild that had 1 person on its members list.

For over 3 Years I've lead the Rebelion and the groups inside of it, forward. I've destroyed hundreds of defended bases and hundreds more undefended bases. I've seen PVP sence the days when you could run for your corpse. I have far to many PVP storys, Very few people respect or remember times like this. My proudest PVP moments are lost in time.

People have Opinions of me, But some things are undeniable.

Because that was a very factual statement, it had no backing of any sort. No proof. No substance. No Anything.

You think that would hold up in court.

Are you Implying I care. General?
You didnt have to fight club to grind, Sitting in restuss with 40 people is grinding enough

Rebels charge the numbers we try to PVP no matter the odds, we grind you, find I'll admit it. we're the idiots that feed you morons.

Yall just run off and fondle yourselves if we out number you.

I play enough to know that.

Lets take this into thought, I pointed this out to you the other night.
You use auto target.
You use a Macro that changes your weapons and drops mines.
and you root yourself.

Are you even playing the game at that point? wtf do you do, press tab and watch tv?

One of the static bases, talus I believe, me as a pre-expertise spy holding of 5 Imps for 37 minutes. Hit and Run at it's finest, I even killed a few of em multiple times. Then a commando got a lucky random shot in on me, they followed the fire and it was game over, they took the base before I could get back

Killed 2 Bounty Hunters that both had my mission once, before I knew that more than one could get your mission, so for the first 30 secs or so I was confused as f*%k as to what was happening. That was about 3 months ago and my bounty is still alive to this day. (granted my normal playing hours are around 4am US time SMILEY:) )

My first 5 Jedi Missions back during the CU were all against Haleigh.   Between 3 and 4 I spent some time with Xyrec honging my PVP skills, as I wasn't much of a PVPer.  Now, I never beat Haleigh, but at the end of the last fight, which unlike the first 4, was actually long enough to be considered a fight, she sent me a tell I'll never forget:  "good job...   you've improved a lot."

My proudest PVP moment was when I was hanging out in Theed with the rest of the imps and Kungg convinced me to go overt and Li-Wu-Bai ran in and killed me. I'm proud because it took about 5 seconds for me to die, which is considerably longer than I expected an entertainer to last. SMILEY:lol:

You see that Rebel recruiting, while tactful and selective, sometimes gives the nod to cannon fodder pawns as well.

Oh, a few of them stand out.

PreCU
The first time I got a jedi (I can't even remember his name).  He was overt in the C-Net cantina and fending off a few lower levels who were trying to melee him.  I walked in teffed because I had been grinding faction so I just let him have it with my T21 and he went down after a couple of headshots.

Later, of course, about 20 members of LIGHT showed up for vengeance while I was grinding some more faction to talk smack about me, my mom, our sexuality and so forth while trying to DOT me until I finally went overt so they could gank me.  They really showed me ... uh, something.

CU
Then there was my favorite bounty hunting episode, where Deathblow tried to get me at the Halloween party at the Theed palace while I was wearing party clothes but hey, the ability to fight dressed in party clothes was the whole reason I ground out master defender in the first place.

NGE
And there was the time after the commando expertise when I discovered that if my kill counter was high enough, it didn't matter what weapon I was using, so I was able to murder Haleigh and a few others with my firework pistol.  That was colorful and fun.

Uhh..mine was during the last big CU battle. All the imps where at bestine, waiting for the rebels to come... a few of us go to the back of the starport (me included) to watch for rebels... well the rebels came..at first I was excited ,only seeing 5 charging. Soon however.. my jaw dropped as sthose 5 rebels turned into 10, then into 20...30..... before I knew it.. the hill was ful of rebels charging.

The Imperials started to line up to meet the rebels..... all excited for the battle, everything fealt slow motion, and only two words came into my head: **edit** THIS!  I started to flee the city, only caring about my life. As I ran, I didn't look back (thanks to lag) and kept running, hearing all the laser fire and the chatlog showing numbers beyond numbers. A couple of rebels caught up to me, but I simply knocked one down and continue to run. I was finally out of the city limits, and got on my bike and went south. When I was up the hill in safety, I looked back at the city to see imperial troops being slaughtered. On y raar I saw a few red dots coming toward me.. so I went all the way to an Imperial base in the middle of nowhere and hid in the basement...then after 2 hours came out.

So yeah.... that was awesome because it showed my running skills were awesome. SMILEY:thumbup:

Yepperz, I am necroing this and throwing in my two credits, cuz noone else mentioned this fight. There's been so many, I'm almost embarassed to say that this is an easy question for me to answer.

Back when the CU first hit, we still had blackbars, jedi damage was weak, and robes were bugged, so that after 10 deaths they decayed to zero, and they broke, with no way to ever replace them. You still lost 400k XP to clone, and noone had yet figured out how to earn it back, spin groups hadn't caught on yet.

At the same time, all the well-known rebel PvP guilds crumbled, LIGHT, gTEF, NERD, packed up and went to play elves and orcs, but Dreydin for a while built CoE into something that seemed untouchable, and 20+ CoE and their allies started camping Reb'el Ridge.

Syngin/Uri'zen with Mesmi, Ken'ji, Fei-Hung, and a few other NRes fought them quietly and without success for a week, not asking anyone for help, just doing their duty to protect their city even though it was hopeless. Rebels I talked to everywhere were more demoralized than I have ever seen them, fighting against this huge mob of jedi was pointless, so said most everyone I talked to.

I had been mostly PvPing with Nightwalker, catching "smaller" groups of imps (like a full group) and trying out different tactics, him a MEnh/MHealer/Powers X4XX, me a MDef/MLS with two lines of enhancer. One night his old De'nelite guildies logged in to check things out and we put together the "De'nel Wrecking Crew" and headed for Reb'el Ridge on the day that turned things around, and that began a new kind of Rebel spirit that still exists in Sunrunner.

The fighting in RR was spread out from the main rebel base to way outside the city limits, there were free standing imperial turrets east of the city and Nightwalker and other willing rebs started taking them down one at a time, every time one fell, another rebel started to believe that our side still was able to fight the imps, with what we had left.

After a 12-hour fight Dreydin pulled everyone back in between our base and the shuttle, so we had to fight the entire group undivided. Ageis sent me a tell asking where the fight was, I told him to hang out near the shuttleport and pick off the imps that were going to try and escape, he lol'd at me.

The rebs at the base (under our overpowered turrets) were talking about how long they could hold out against the impies, when Uri'zen asked who was ready to attack, of course this started everyone laffin their buns off.

I knew he was going in though, and barely had time to /smile at him before he /smiled back, and the two of us charged into that mob of reds, taking them totally by surprise, as we AoE'd the mob got bigger, all the cloakers popping out when they took damage.

I remember that moment like it was yesterday, when the sky lit up with arches of force drain and heals high over our heads, and the rest of the rebs charged in behind us as the imperials started to break apart. Ageis got a half dozen trying to escape past him after all.

I also remember feeling a little ashamed afterwards, as Uri'zen /kowtowed to every rebel there in turn, over and over, sincerely greatful that we had finally come to help, this from the guy who would never even mention that he had just given more than anyone to turn around the rebels from their darkest point, and turn us into fighters again.

Yeah, there have been so many great fights in Sunrunner history, this one stands out in my mind because it created a new kind of rebellion that could never fade, or lose its will to fight.
